08.02 — 01.06.2025.

Based in London, Karen Knorr is an artist whose work has been recognized since the 1980s for its ability to blend documentary photography with staged compositions. Karen Knorr invites us to explore narratives where imagination and reality intertwine. With a unique perspective, the photographer merges narrative, historical, and symbolic elements to create works that challenge our own relationship with the world.

The exhibition unveils a selection of her most recent photographs. Her latest series serve as testimonies to history or reflections of cultural traditions. Karen Knorr weaves scenes where architecture and animals meet in powerful and poetic compositions. Through her new creations, the artist invites us to reflect on the world, decipher hidden messages, and perceive reality from multiple perspectives.

The Indian Songs series captures the vibrant soul of India, bridging ancestral rituals and modern heritage. In Fables, the artist playfully subverts codes of decorum in prestigious French locations. Scavi takes us through the ruins of Pompeii, exploring archaeology as a metaphor for time that erases and reveals. Finally, Monogatari immerses us in the dreamlike universe of Japanese tales.

Each image is a journey—a visual tale where art and culture come to life through photographs that question, astonish, and captivate.
